Cut loss in JCY @ 1.29 due to hit threshold for cut loss. Anyhow it is a bad trade to start with. Lesson learn. Do not break the rule.

2012 Goals

Written Goals.
Last year was quite average mainly due to loose goals and inconsistent tracking. This year will focus more on the goal execution and tracking. Time for SMART Goals

Here are my 2012 goals. These are only personal goals. The professional goals are not publish and confidential

1. Complete iOS Development Course (Falls 2011) by WW15'2012. Follow weekly schedule with biweekly update meeting.

2. Complete 3x5x52 = 780, cold contact with weekly tracking. Produce tracking and report on every sunday night

3. NSC Target, at least RM50K per month
4. Promotion criteria target. RM40K per month.

Today wasn't 11-11-2011 anymore but it's the last class day of my CFP Module 2 course. The class starts at 1pm hence have time to make my own breakfast. While cooking I ponder the interview Charlie monger had with Caltech. He said is investment s a lot about making sense of the knowledge you have. Hmmm

I was on the way for affortable grocery at Giant when i saw someone hoisting LCD TV on motorbike. LCD TV used to be premium item but perhaps nowadays it is more affortable. Local aution and online store like http://mudah.com.my does offers decent Kancil ranging from RM5000-RM10,000. Does this justify good buy or perhaps he won the LCD TV in a lucky draw?

What you need to get rich?

Very interesting question. If rich is easy why aren't every one are? From countless wisdom read in many different books, here are receipe of weatlh that is so simple yet so hard to implement.
1. Discipline - Invest first, spend only on what you need.
2. Time - All it tooks is time for your money to compounding. Start early, regardless how small

I'm leaving out rate of return from the equation, but why? As long you invest, you will have something for the rainy day.

Note: Even the greatest investor on the planet only make on average 25% return per annum. So be wary if someone promising you anything greater then that.

Operation Malaysia Anonymous

Hackers group Anonymous has launch retaliation attack against Malaysia goverment websites due to recent ban of some file sharing websites.

Most important website such as EPF (http://www.kwsp.gov.my) & LHDN (http://www.hasil.gov.my/) are still up and running, however i strongly recomend that printing your EPF statements will be a good idea.

Well that was a saying a friend whom is a Financial Planner told me. Pause for a second it is a meaningful sweet phrase.

Live simple in financial term means to reduce monthly expenses and most importantly reduce monthly payments.

Having small monthly payment is not only manageable but it really helps shall economics downturn happens again. No more worry about job security and pay cut.

With low monthly expenses it is easy to generate passive incomes to cover for expenses need as well.

Example:
If your monthly expenses is about RM2,000

Yearly expenses: RM24,000

What you need are one of below

a.) RM 300,000 invested in Unit Trust
b.) RM 800,000 saved in FD

* assume unit trust yeild 8% return
** bank FD rate 3% pa

Option A seems quite achieveable...
